Charles Matthews
Chairman
Charles Matthews has been in the water treatment industry for almost 40 years. He is widely known throughout the water treatment industry for being a pioneer in sales techniques and an innovator of services offered in this industry. Founding Guardian-IPCO, Inc. in 1972, he worked in sales early on to build a strong foundation for the company with just a few other employees.

Charles currently acts as chairman of Guardian-IPCO, Inc. and works closely with the sales and marketing department to develop new ideas for business growth.

Cindy Mitchell
President
Cindy Mitchell, President and CEO of Guardian-Ipco, is a past member of the Board of Directors and the 2000 Treasurer of the Association of Water Technologies (AWT). She is the current Treasurer for the International Water Treatment Manufacturers Association.

She served as a member of the Special Job Analysis Task Force for the Certification program for AWT. She holds certificate #1-0030 as a Certified Water Technologist and is responsible for Guardian’s training programs.

She has over 29 years of water treatment industry experience. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Auburn University with a major in Chemistry and minors in Mathematics and Physics.

Jay Mullis
Plant Manager
Jay Mullis, Vice President and COO of Guardian-IPCO, is responsible for all business operations.

Jay has over 30 years water treatment experience and holds a degree in Biology from Valdosta State College and certificate # 1-0014 as a Certified Water Technologist.

Mike Reeser
Vice President of Sales

Responsible for all corporate sales and marketing activities

Jackie Harless
Controller
Jackie Harless, CPA, is in charge of looking out for the finances of Guardian-IPCO, Inc. She has an accounting degree from the University of Alabama and has over 16 years of financial experience working for both large and small companies.

Jackie is responsible for all accounts payable and works closely with others in the company involved in business development and marketing, making sure all budgetary policies are followed. She is also responsible for tax related issues and credit accounts.

Kevin Hopkins
Laboratory Manager
Kevin Hopkins is a Chemical Engineering graduate, who currently manages the company’s IT infrastructure and all online operations.

Kevin has over 19 years of computer systems experience and 11 years experience in the water treatment industry. As a Chemical Engineer he handles a wide variety of technical support issues, and works with quality control systems, product development, inventory management and plant maintenance.
